Had to buy some essentials…martini glasses!  We did also buy 2 cereal bowls. Weather has been in the 80s and we have unpacked most of our stuff.  Luckily there is still room, have 3 boxes to pick up my Dad’s in Port Charlotte tomorrow.

Picked up our new rig this morning and drove it 2 miles to Cypress Trails RV Resort. Staying here for a week to get us settled.  85 and sunny🌞

Made it to Georgia. Love the longer days and the temp!

Made it to Virginia.  Macy is spending her first night in a dog friendly hotel!

Closed up camp for the winter and hit the road.  First stop..Oneonta, NY for a quick granddaughter fix!  35 degrees out, need to go further south!

This has been a crazy summer!  Our condo is under contract and we close Oct 1st.  Right now it is all about the “stuff”.  We have been donating, selling, giving away and trashing 3000 square feet of “stuff”.  Big garage sale Sat, Sept 22nd!  Why are we so into having so much stuff?

On a more positive note, our motor home has been started.  We ordered a Tiffin Allegro RED 37PA to our specs and construction begins this week.  We will be picking it up on Oct. 30th.  Stayed tuned for progress updates.

Did you ever want to get rid of all your stuff and just hit the road? For the past year we have been toying with the idea of selling our condo in Vermont, buying a motor home, and traveling this beautiful country of ours.  After lots  research, planning and a big leap of faith, we are actually doing it!
